Recently, over 50 teachers and school professionals had the opportunity to learn about the Just Right! Curriculum during a summer professional development course! The district offered a 3-hour, hands-on, course and provided a copy of the book for each participant. We had so much fun learning about sensory modulation and practicing the lessons. Throughout the course we created some of the tools and acted out the lessons. Teachers learned the importance of teaching sensory modulation to an entire classroom and use it as a Tier 1 intervention. They gained the confidence to teach the curriculum on their own or in collaboration with therapists!
